Doug Fauth, JD, IU Health

Chair

Doug is a corporate attorney with a focus on strategic planning and transactions. He is married to Melanie, a healthcare executive who operates companies offering consulting services and mind-body-medicine programs. They have three sons and one daughter-in-law (and one D-I-L to be), and enjoy the outdoors, attending concerts and travel.

Ryan Ranck

Vice Chair

Ryan brings marketing experience to the board following a 30-year career at Lilly, and 12 years of healthcare/pharmaceutical consulting. He is passionate about giving back to our community, and is proud to be on the Board of Directors for Heart and Soul Free Clinic.

Ryan has lived in Indiana most of his life, and is a graduate of Purdue University. He resides in Fishers with his wife Carla, has two daughters, a son in law, and one grandson. He enjoys long winter trips to Florida, golf, supporting the Colts/Pacers/Cubs/Boilers, and spending time with family and friends.

Hilary Herendeen,MSN, MBA, FNP-C, FACHE, Ascension St. Vincent

Secretary

Hilary is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and serves as the Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Operating Officer at the St. Vincent Heart Center in Carmel. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Health Administration from Indiana University and Nursing from Marian University, a master’s degree in Nursing from the University of Saint Francis, and an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.

In addition to her leadership role, Hilary has been a member of the Heart and Soul Free Clinic Board since 2022, where she is deeply committed to advancing access to high-quality care for communities across central Indiana.

Hilary resides in Fishers with her husband, Wes, and their two children, Charlotte and Jack. As a family, they enjoy boating, swimming, cheering on their children in youth sports, and supporting their favorite Indiana teams—the Colts, Pacers, Fever, and Hoosiers.

Ryan Fier, Riverview Health

Treasurer

Ryan is a healthcare administrator currently serving as the Associate Vice President for Riverview Health Physicians. He brings experience in physician group and practice management to the board. He is excited to combine his passion for healthcare with his commitment to making a positive impact locally by joining the Board of Directors for Heart & Soul Clinic. He received his bachelor’s degree from Wabash College and his Masters in Healthcare Administration (MHA) from Indiana University Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health.

Ryan was born and raised in Indiana. He currently resides in Westfield with his wife, Dory, and many animals (cats, dogs, and horses) on their homestead. He enjoys watching English Premier League soccer, completing projects around their house and property, and spending time with family and friends.

Cynthia Brumbarger, BSN, M. ED, HealthNet, Inc

Cindy Brumbarger comes to the clinic with more than 7 years of experience as a critical care nurse. She now focuses on healthcare administration including various board positions and currently works for HealthNet as a director. She is a Westfield resident for over 25 years with a husband and 2 adult sons. Cindy and her husband Ron homeschooled their sons while touring the country in an RV and have visited every state in the continental US + Alaska! Cindy is also an annual Disney passholder and loves to hike.

Jill Christiansen, Community Health

Member

Jill lives in Carmel with her husband, two sons and daughter. She has over 20 years of healthcare experience and currently serves at the Vice President for Social Accountability for Community Health Network. She is passionate about access to care for the uninsured and underinsured and looks forward to making a meaningful impact on behalf of the Heart and Soul board.

Jill is proud graduate of Indiana University – Bloomington… Go Hoosiers! In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on her kids in their various activities and taking advantage of all the wonderful activities Hamilton County has to offer!

Robin Lynch

Member

Robin received her undergraduate degree from Purdue University in elementary education (Boiler Up!) and her Masters degree from Indiana University in school administration. She started her 34 year career as a teacher in Carmel and recently retired as the principal of Oak Trace Elementary in Westfield where she served for 21 years.

Robin lives in Westfield with her husband, Dave, and sheepadoodle, Rosie. They have a son, Robbie, who lives in Colorado; and a daughter, Shelby, who lives in Westfield.

In her free time Robin enjoys reading, painting, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Robin has always had a passion for helping others and looks forward to serving on the Heart and Soul Board.

Janice Vadas, B. S. Pharm, DPLA, MBA, IU Health

Member

Janice is currently serving as Director of Allied Health for IU Health North and IU Health Saxony (soon to be Fishers). She is a pharmacist by background and a graduate of Butler University and WGU.

Janice lives in Carmel IN with her husband Jesse. They have a son (and future daughter in law) living in Boise ID and a daughter (and future son in law) residing in Nashville TN. Janice grew up locally in Sheridan IN and has extended family close by.

Janice finds joy visiting her children, spending time with local family/friends and reading. Her favorite sport to watch is hockey.

Janice is excited to be able to support the healthcare needs of the community in which she lives and works.

Bobby Burlas, Keller Williams Commercial

Bobby Burlas is a Commercial Real Estate Broker with G2 Real Estate Group – KW Commercial. Prior to his current role, he served as a Senior Advisory Consultant with Ernst & Young in Indianapolis, working primarily with Real Estate clients. A longtime resident of Hamilton County for over 25 years, Bobby is excited to bring his real estate expertise and deep local knowledge to support the organization and the community.

Jenessa Dunlap, City of Carmel

Jenessa is a Financial Analyst for the City of Carmel, where they are in charge of the daily banking transactions, general ledger reconciliation, and capital assets. With over 8 years of experience in Accounting, Jenessa brings a strong background in Accounting and Banking.

Jenessa is passionate about the Heart and Soul Free Clinic, and has been an administrative volunteer since 2021.

She currently resides in Indianapolis with her 3 cats. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and kayaking with friends and checking out local restaurants.

Stacy Oswald, Lake City Bank

Member

Stacy Oswald is a Vice President, Retail Banking Officer at Lake City Bank, serving the Westfield community. She is passionate about building strong client relationships and supporting local growth through financial guidance and community involvement. Stacy resides in Westfield, where she enjoys spending time with her family, attending sporting events, and traveling. She is excited to bring her passion for community service to the Heart and Soul Free Clinic Board.

Todd Reel

Member

Todd brings 42 years of healthcare operational experience to the board and has recently retired. Because of this background, he wanted to find a way to continue serving in the healthcare area, and utilize his expertise.

Todd and his wife Michele have lived in Noblesville for 30+ years, where they raised their 3 kids, and now have one son-in-law, two daughters-in-law, and five grandkids.

In his free-time, Todd is an avid golfer, a proud supporter of Purdue sports, and spending time with his family here and in Asheville NC.
